I think it would be better to eat that way. But it just does not fit our lifestyle. I also think it would be even more important eating that way (light supper) if a person is eating a more conventional high carbohydrate diet. Not as important but still helpful for a low carb diet. High insulin levels and a big supper just tells the body to store lots of fat while we are sleeping. Our compromise is we don't eat breakfast and eat a low carb supper. That gives us about 16 hours from supper for insulin levels to drop low. John |
