Yes that is the error made many years ago by Ancel Keys. Dietary fat was equated with increased fat (cholesterol) in the blood, supposedly causing the heart disease. But that is not the way it works.

Took 50 years to get here. How long will it take to correct the public perception and the medical community's obsession with cholesterol?

Watch Ivor Cummins stuff to find out what the real cause of heart disease is. Spoiler.....it's not cholesterol. It is insulin resistance caused by too many carbohydrates over many years (especially highly refined carbohydrates) and/or eating them too often. Keeping insulin high over extended periods leading to insulin resistance and hyperinsulinemia.
