northwest ohio | I am just getting started on my journey,will be 30 days Thursday, kind of following John's modified keto diet. I cut out lunch meat and processed foods, no fried food, no bread, well kinda I do have a sour dough muffin on Sunday mornings to make an egg sandwich. No other bread, and I love bread! and no french fries. Very little pop like one a week. Eat all kinds of meat, select vegetables, squash even made squash pizza, not bad really. salads. I don't get hungry, don't get sleepy in the afternoon, weight is coming off , blood sugar has dropped,blood pressure coming down, if I had known it was this easy I would have started a long time ago. No counting calories, no measuring amounts,no exercising other than normal , even cheat just a little once in a while. Started at 255 down to 240 this morning. My goal is to be 200 by Christmas.I know I have taken off the easy pounds, but it is encouraging that I can lose weight.
