Subject: 2020 yield sense vs 9x60 or 9x70 vintage John Deere yield monitor

Victoria Township, North Dakota
I have 2020 yield sense in two of my Lexion 4xx combines.
I am dealing with electrical glitches that are becoming a PIA at 6000 engine hours on each machine.
The Lexions still thrash good; when they run.
The Lexions require a skilled operator like my self with 40 years of experience to run, as the header height is not automatic and no gps auto steer.

I have 14 John Deere headers from when we had 8820's as our flag ship machines.
I am looking at one 9x60 or 9x70 John Deere combine to add to the fleet that could use any one of my older headers ie 930 flex with an air reel, 843 corn header, 853 sunflower headers, 914 pickup headers, universal bean head with a sund pickup.

I have 4640 screen and a Starfire 3000 receiver that are not in use during harvest that I can put in the 9x60 or 9x70 machine to do yield mapping and guidance.

I think the John Deere 9x60 or 9x70 would be more goof proof with auto header height and auto steer for a less experienced operator like my wife or other family members.

Am I going to hate the yield monitor results from that vintage of John Deere combines?
Or will I be getting another yieldsense kit for the Deere?
