Subject: Pass to pass accuracy for auto steer systems

Soutwest Ks.
I posted this on Ag Online, but I am aware that there are different people that read this than the other site, so I will also ask here.
Deere with the SF2 integrated system states pass to pass accuracy within 4" 95% of the time. How is this measured? If you measured your quess rows on a 30" set up would you measure no more than 34" at the widest and 26" at the narrowest? Or is it possible that those rows could measure 38" or 22" respectively and still be within spec.? I've been running an Outback Baseline e-drive for several weeks and have done a lot of measuring of the quess rows and I would like to know how mfgs. come up with the specs. they use and what should be expected.
