Long story short, pin 1 on a Starfire receiver is simulated radar speed. Check and see on your Greenstar harness if you have a wire populated in pin 1 at the Starfire on the machine harness side. Is usually circuit 211 and a brown wire. Get a pinout of the Raven connector and hook up to the speed signal pin. Don't forget to calibrate the ground speed in the Raven. Ground speed signal is sent via one wire.
This solution is getting the emulated speed directly off the Starfire receiver and not thorugh the ATU. The wire for the signal on the Raven connector for speed and is the pin across from the notch. This is referred to as the 6 O'Clock position. The Raven will pick up ground through the power connection so only the 1 wire is needed. I've ran a 440 off a radar gun which was powered another way with only the 1 wire many times.
