Subject: Pull a tile plow with tractor or dozer?

West central Illinois
We bought a pull type soilmax tile plow last winter. We’ve been pulling it with a 9482 new holland. It does fine with the laterals and 6” tile. But absolutely can’t do 8” without help. We bought a Komatsu d65ex-15 today with a ripper valve today.

Would I be better off to keep pulling it with the tractor and use the dozer as a helper when needed?

Or hook the plow to the dozer and pull it? And if so will the ripper valve in this work or do we have to find a different way for the hydraulics?
