we have been using old plow beams-john deere made 1450 plows that always went for scrap-think the beam is a 6x6 x1/2 inch-we put them in at 7ft deep-they seem to be not rusting at all 25 years later-on end post we pour concrete in before bracing
not fun to replace something that should not rot
This is why I use pipe for corners
