Hopefully open source projects like AgopenGPS will continue to improve. I don't think that subscription will be sustainable in the long run. If all the companies were running a subscription model the quickest way for one of them to gain sales would be to offer a non subscription display. All it would take is one manufacture needing to improve sales revenue for the year or quarter. You see similar issues in the opec oil cartel.
