Subject: millet or rye

NW Wisconsin
I would like some suggestions. Have a 30 acre field that I was going to plant to Japanese Millet for hay but with the weather and my other work I'm beginning to think it is too late, after millet I wanted to plant winter rye to wet wrap in spring. Now I'm starting to think Maybe just go with the winter rye with something else so I can get some fall grazing but still put up baleage in the spring. What would be the amount per acre of each, say rye, oats , hairy vetch, radishes etc. to make this work? I'm straight east of Mpls.-St. Paul.
