E. Kansas | One of my uncles was stationed on Tinian Island, and worked on the Enola Gay B-29 in preparation for its mission to Hiroshima on Aug 6, 1945. He didn't help load the bomb, but said they were told the weapon the Enola Gay was to carry was like nothing they'd ever seen before and how extremely powerful it was.
There would not have been a Hiroshima and Nagasaki if there hadn't been a Pearl Harbor.
