Subject: RE: Hog tanker manure injector?

SW MN - mt. lake/windom
I was running dietrich injectors for the past 10 years. I switched to phantom vti injectors last year. We switching to minimum tillage and want least disturbance to soil. Vti runs great in corn stalk residue. They also require less hp from tractor. We increased our efficiency by switching to vti as well. We now can travel as fast as the pump on the wagon can pump out switch I believe is around 11 mph and get very good coverage of soil over manure. Dietrich was limited to around 6-7 mph before injectors started throwing to much soil out and not covering manure very well. I’d recommend the vti. On a side note, i have 5 Dietrich injectors in the shed that need a home.
