NW IL | Ag Leader Intellislope can utilize most any 3rd party RTK receiver. You will need the following settings turned on:
Baud – 19200 or 38400
Hz Rate – 5 or 10 Hz
NMEA messages – GGA, VTG, and GSA. Turn off all other messages.
On the Intellislope module there is an optional 9 pin serial cable that you can feed the RTK signal into. The Intellislope module is mounted on the tile plow.
With FMX/FM1000 you will need the GPS antenna mounted on tile plow (most likely ag25 antenna). You will have FM1000 in the cab. You will have coax cable connecting the 1000 to the ag25. You will also need a serial cable running from the 1000 to the tile plow. From memory I'm thinking you will pull NMEA out of either port C or port D from back of the 1000 (I could be wrong on this.....someone more knowledgeable on Trimble feel free to correct me).
You will also need the FM/FMX 1000 unlocked to RTK and receiving RTK corrections. Intellislope needs RTK fix to function. This may sound obvious to some...but worth mentioning for those that are not aware.
