Subject: 4690 pto question

On my 4690 i had to replace the seal at the back of the PTO clutch back. Everything went fine, but i noticed after i installed and torqued the yolk (for the drive shaft)to the output shaft that it would not spin unless i use a prybar. Before it would spin by hand. I cant see how torquing the yolk would effect the output shaft in any ways, it doesn't put any external forces on the shaft that i can see. I took the yolk back off then and the output shaft still doesn't turn freely. I also tried running the pto, and it worked fine with no abnormal sounds at all.

Does anyone here know why the pto would spin freely before but not after i torqued the yolk to the output shaft?
Does anyone know if the PTO brake is hydraulic pressure to apply or hydraulic pressure to release?
