ECIL | Ummm....or......we could attack it from a more positive angle and form crews of people to make their way about the countryside teaching people about what Small Refinery Exemptions and trade wars do to demand for our commodities.
Seriously though, why don't we work on demand. Start with trying to engage consumers and elected officials on the positives of ethanol, how positive it is for the environment and our local economies. How much better it is than fossil fuels or electric cars, and promotion of high compression engines that use it solely as their fuel source. Why should we be beholden to the dirty fuel industry when we have the answer growing out in our fields?
And go from there, let's promote exports of soybeans as a protein sources that the while world needs, and ethanol as the clean fuel that the rest of the world wants.
It's not easy, but it sure feels a lot better than destroying the product that we work so hard to raise, and guys talking about setaside on here. Wouldn't it be fun to raise something everyone wanted instead of constantly be looking for ways to cut production? | |
