Pierce county WI | With all due respect Paul, the all time record of 176.6 is a big crop. Think back to 16, 17, 18. 16 and 17 were great growing seasons. 18 had some issues, and last summer the number got tweaked. Now Iowa is having serious problems, and we're not just going to beat the record, we're going to beat it by 6 bu? I don't believe it. The world was a different place a few years ago. The money isn't there like it was. Back then people would throw everything at it. I don't think they are doing that extent these days. That's the same reason we didn't end up with 97 million acres of corn. | |
