Because this. Drought monitor is concerned with precipitation. It doesn't mean there isn't moisture underneath. We've been really dry the last 2 months, but the crop still looks great. Plus, we're cooling down for grain fill, which will pack on the yield. Every year people get on here and talk about how the crop isn't there, and they're wrong.
