Pierce county WI
No offense Wes, but Iowa along 80 looks good most of the time. This summer I jumped in the Pete for about 5 weeks. From Des Moines west is going downhill. July 11 looked fine. It was up north like Sioux county was looking tougher back then. The tough Illinois part was down by Bloomington, which looks greatly improved, and far north by us 20. Illinois looks lots better, Iowa looks worse. One thing to remember though, there was a pile of corn that pollinated in the heat especially south and west of Peoria. I was in Quincy IL on July 8th and I remember lots of tassels and sweating like crazy when you got away from the AC to unload. Haven't been to Ohio or Indiana since March. Central Iowa has some nutrient deficiencies too.
