found  another  ST 50  laying  around,  (pack rat here)  that had  a  good fitting..   So that part  of the job  is  over..

So  now I just need to extract the  broke piece out of the turbo housing.

There's  cam  style  nipple extractors,   which I   don't think  my  broke piece is   long enough  for the cam part  to  grab onto..   best guess is   about  half inch of  treads  are in the turbo.

Spiral type extractors..

straight flute  extractors

found a neat  3  jaw  expanding  extractor  that  expands  to  grab   various  sizes.. but  about  5 days out on delivery..

Fitting is  brass, 3/4 inch  inside diameter,  and  pretty thick walled.    I'll probably  just  try a   spiral  extractor,  but I better make sure it  doesn't bottom out  on the  turbine  shaft!   May have to  'modify'  an  extractor  that  'just'  fits.

Straight extractor is the one to use, spiral won’t work in a brass fitting.
