The emissions systems are better on the newer trucks but they all are made to run steady speeds every day on the highway. Leaving them set seems to cause issues. Short hauls, dirt, all cause issues. They have so many sensors on them that drive you nuts. If you can remove the emissions junk it will help but there is still a lot of electrical crap on them. That is probably true for any truck built sense ‘07 or after. |
