Pedee, Oregon | Spirals are mostly custom built to have specific drop and angles to make them work for the seeds being separated. If the one you have access to was built to separate something other than vetch out of oats, it may work but need multiple trips through or an extremely slow feed rate. The good thing is you can set a large hopper over it and make it work for hours on end with little attention. They do need cleaned regularly as dust and debris will build up and affect separation. | |
