Coastal South Carolina | I am 25-30 miles due west of Myrtle Beach. Looks like I will get a near hit. We have had a wet summer. We can handle the expected rain. I think I would rather have it now instead of a month. I hope to start picking cob corn in two weeks. The corn is still a little green, so hoping root system is strong enough not to get blown down. We have had hurricanes before and will have them again. We just hunker down and let it go. | |
