I'm thinking it is likely the hot stretch we had during the rapid growth stage. Normally mine is taller than the neighbor's early planted corn, but this is even taller than mine usually is. This is a hybrid I have grown since 2016.
Paul, have you noticed if the distance between the leaf collars is greater in your corn as opposed to your neighbors earlier planted corn? |
