SW TX PANHANDLE | Little background, we have a show steer who the vet said had infected lymph nodes under his jaw. This was the first week of May and they abcessed. He is one of the top vets around for fixing problems with show animals. Left him there and has been there since. Checked on him a few times over the weeks and he kept saying it’s slowly healing but it would take a while as the infection is deep under the surface of the skin. Inn in picked him up the past week and still have to clean and drain. Told me to use hydrogen peroxide and water alternating each every other day. Ready to get this week bee with, looking for a silver bullet to get him healed? | |
