Iowa | Looking at Dec 21 corn I'll try to make it short and sweet. Don't know if I'm crazy but it looks appealing to me even though there is a possibility of a big crop but think we could see other items move markets more so then a big crop. A person can buy the 3.50 call for $.06 and change and the $3.60 call for $.02. contract high is $4.20 I get were sitting at about 83% of the high but seems like we have went what 11-12 years of seeing $4 corn somewhere along the year. I'm thinking hard of doing 125% of next year's production in one of those two strikes talk me out of it. Thinking a person could roll up and collect premium or get out and move to futures and hopefully have a chance to sell some cash corn at a fair price. | |
