Agree with V Rocker. If for hay or grazing I would not be concerned, S-S will out grow the crabgrass.
Is S-S planted solid stand ( drilled) or row planted? If row planted and you want to clean it up , use a directed spray in the row middles.
I will say this about atrazine and crabgrass. Atrazine will kill two to four inch crabgrass. When I planted our garden sweet corn I sprayed a band of atrazine over the row using a back pack sprayer. Intention was to prevent grass and morning glory. Lots of rainfall in weeks after planting. Control was fair but some crabgrass did come in the row around the stalks. In the middles which were not sprayed, grass was thick. I carefully hand sprayed the middles with glyphosate taking extra care to get none on the corn. In the row , I hand sprayed a solution of atrazine on the crabgrass and of course it got on the lower part of the corn stalks . The crabgrass died and the corn was not harmed. Rows and middles now clean as can be.
