Is down here.

Wheat pasture is a big deal in TX and OK, and somewhat in KS and CO.


Depending on conditions, guys can put cattle on as soon as the wheat is rooted in good enough the cattle won't pull it up by the roots, and will leave them on all winter. Then either pull off in March and cut grain, or let them grub it into the ground, and pull them off in May or June.
