NW KS | I did a little bit of research on those connectors again since it has been a while since I repaired the cables I had. It was a twist on connector that I used. You strip the coax to a certain length and the solder the center pin in. The the outside housing twists onto the cable. The fit on the one I used wasn't the greatest so I used some heavy duty shrink wrap to make sure it would hold. So far it has worked. I think that was done a few years back and the antenna gets moves a couple of times a year. I used a radio shack one but I doubt that is an option anymore. Here is an ebay link to something similar. No idea on the quality but the price is reasonable. Crimp on might be more reliable in the long run but these are fast. Search for tnc twist on and you should be able to find something similar.
