Sw Iowa | We have been hot and dry for a good stretch but had a few rains that have held it together. The cold snap at planting may have taken a small bit along with the hot and dry, but things look real good around here now. My organic corn looks really good with two good ears so if that can look like that I am going to be a real hard sell on a big corn rally. Not really what every one wants to hear but I have to think Iowa is going to average a bit higher this year. Still a ways away from harvest so all that can change fast though. | |
