Read some of the thread from years ago. Clearly you are over my head in understanding this. In my mind the QE crap was a turning point where we reached a point of no return and now Covid plus a contest between two parties to buy votes has accelerated the whole thing. We spat on the idea that business and individuals must be allowed to fail for a healthy economy! There is some lag time so I think things could move quickly from here. I can identify the problem easy enough but can’t predict what’s next. Does FDIC insured mean anything??
Are dollars buried in the back yard as you discussed, riskier than dollars in an institution or opposite??
I think we move to some kind of Crypto currency but dollars could get killed in the exchange (or visa versa I suppose).
Would you rather have cash in a bank or a farm today??
Are fdic insured dollars save or at risk?
