I’d say he’s saying it’s embarrassing to be in the same profession with so many people that have their hands out any chance they get. Especially when you consider the PPP was originally designed for businesses that actually had to lay off people or had their business affected.
Trying to stay wage competitive with unemployment paying what amounts to $73,000 per year is going to affect businesses that didn’t lay off their people.
