coast of Maine | I was way up in the mountains of Malaysia where its cooler.They raise tea,strawberries and even sweetcorn.A small roadside stall was selling an ear of corn grilled on open coals.This was a small hibachi type charcoal driven,grill was an inch off the coals,corn was crispy black outside and a very nice (different ) item .He was soaking it in what appeared to be butter(there probably not butter)then continuosly rolling it on the grill grates til blackened.Maybe 25 cents equivalent cost USD. | |
