Went through the air museum when we were out there almost 20 years ago. Did you do the base tour at Ellsworth AFB? Thought the missile silo tour was pretty cool.
Dude. We took the exit for the air museum at Ellsworth. After all, this was supposed to be the week we would be at Oshkosh, so let’s look at some warbirds. I know there’s only a few B-1s at Ellsworth and a lot of hours in the day, didn’t even figure on a 1% chance of seeing one fly. I was wrong- we were just about done walking through the exhibit aircraft when rrrrrrrrrRRRRRROOAR here comes a Bone launching. Major bonus points for the trip.
The other stuff at Ellsworth and the missile silo place are closed because of the stupid Rona.
