My wife's favorite meal is roast beef in the slow cooker with potatoes and carrots. It is near the top of my most disliked meals. She knows this and understands its has nothing to do with her cooking. She made it for lunch today. I think there must be a correlation between wanting your steak to taste like shoe leather and liking roast beef.
Same issue here......love me some roast beef

) but the spouse is no fan. UNTIL:::::: I ran across this...........Put a good-sized chuck roast in the crock pot. Sprinkle a package of store-bought Au Jus mix over top. Sprinkle dry Ranch Dressing over the top. Place 1 stick of real butter on top of the whole kit-n-kaboodle. Turn the pot on low for however long you like your beef cooked. It's stinkin' delicious!! Try it and see if your mind isn't at least modified if not changed.
Am I the only one who dislikes roast beef?
