Those kind of things are what does it for me. Not so much the belching but flatulence. I have cut out or cut down on a lot of those but still drink a lot of carbonated water.
One thing I notice, the more I cut out the vegetables, the less my farts stink. On mostly meat hardly smell at all. If wife puts in a small amount of cabbage or broccoli, look out. Have not had beans or lentils for over a year so don't know about them.
