That I do not know. But your kidneys are your bloods filter system, so I would speculate that they are getting rid of some excesses of something caused by the stress of surgery. Like maybe the stuff they use to put you out and kill the pain? But that is just a guess. I'm definitely no doctor. I' a dirt farmer, mostly retired.
