Central, IA | The best diet change I've made in the last couple years is 2-3 eggs and some sausage every morning. Many on here will skip breakfast completely. While I agree there's probably some merit to fasting if your looking for weight loss. I just couldn't physically do it. If I eat a good protein based breakfast, I find I'm not reaching for that granola bar at 10am. I try to put some meat with every meal.
I hear you on the peanut butter. That and ice cream are my weakness's. I don't drink pop. Cup of coffee every morning and I drink lots of water. I just looked at a 17oz bottle of sprite in our fridge left over from a camping trip. 53 grams of added sugar. The skippy "natural" in the cupboard has 3 grams in a 2 tablespoon serving. I figure the sugar in peanut butter is the least of my worries. | |
