East central Iowa | I was working in my shop this morning and while waiting for glue to dry I considered who I might not like and who I might be jealous of.
As to not liking, I have no deep seated hatred of anybody. I don't like the ideas of some people and I suspect that even those people are good at some level, ya I know about 6 feet lower than the grass.
But jealous I think I am. Those who understand and can do things that I can't. Those who have certain tools and those that have a new Corvette are people that I'd be jealous of I think.
Then I looked up the word jealous and now I think envious is more fitting.
Jealousy is when you worry someone will take what you have ... envy is wanting what someone else has.” Others, however, do not make this distinction, or differentiate between these two words in another fashion. |
