The science behind cholesterol and heart disease was all screwed up starting with Ancel Keys about 50 or so years ago. The science now is there refuting it (and the current dietary guidelines that came out of it) but you have to dig for it. The current powers that be are not going to promote it. Too much money and interests at stake.
