I'll let you draw your own conclusions.

A month or two ago I ran across a doctor that recommended at the first signs of potential covid 19 infection to gargle with salt water every few hours. The idea behind it was that the virus starts in the sinus, migrates to the throat and eventually to the lungs. He was recommending reducing the viral load in the throat with the salt water gargle to reduce the viral load getting into the lungs. I did have a stuffy head and sore throat a few weeks back and did gargle with salt water. I got over the sore throat pretty quickly although it did reoccur a day or two later and I repeated the process. Took a couple weeks for the stuffy head to go away. Was it covid 19? Probably not but it could have been. Did the gargle help? Don't know but I doubt it hurt any. I did take a magnesium supplement and vitamin C also during that time.

Would be something to consider if a person starts developing symptoms.

John
