Subject: RE: change of diet?

Pittsburg, Kansas

Between one of my back operations a massage therapist did me more good than about anything. I credit her for me not losing near as much muscle mass in my leg like I did the first time before being operated on.

I would go in barely able to walk. Had to put my feet on the dashboard of the car to stand the pain of the drive there. Hobbled in. When I left I was walking upright and most pain gone. Thing of it is it only lasted about a half hour before I noticed my muscles tightening up again and in a few hours I was back pretty bad. But I still credit it from keeping my muscles from becoming atrophied as bad. When the muscles contract and will not release because of a pinched nerve they can not let blood properly flow so over a period of time muscle damage happens and the muscle becomes weaker. The hour massage let the muscle relax and blood flow back to it for a while.
