I had the same issue, in particular with the slow speed transport kit and dual knife and airbar. I am guessing you must have that?
What I did was remove the two large bolts (lower header fully on ground with adapter unlocked, be careful with springs) Fully remove both large spring bolts and cut a few more inches of thread on them. This allowed the original pair of springs to be tightened a little more. Works well and is nearly free.
