C IL | Like anarchist militia bad guy explosives or hey we forgot Uncle Mike had some leftover dynamite from the 40’s explosives?
Friend of mine dabbles in military surplus and one day a similar crew (ATF, FBI, Homeland Security) rolled and in and seized a couple shipping containers full of stuff out at the ranch. Weren’t asking for it back, weren’t talking about what they wanted.
Later, it turns out the military was supposed to destroy some BDU’s that had radioactive dust on them and somehow they got sold as surplus instead, maybe the previous jobber knew about it also but somehow they got dumped into a pile of other stuff, so the military wanted their stuff back to dispose of it properly. Friend eventually got an apology and some sort of minor damages back but it took a while. | |
