Are we talking connectors with a metal housing?

I don’t think a decent penetrating oil like WD-40 or similar would hurt. It would have a long way to go to get to the terminals and even then likely wouldn’t cause you any issue.

If you’re talking plastic housings that the terminals have corroded together, your best bet would probably be to cut them and get good terminals in there as it’s likely to cause problems in the short term anyway if they’re corroded together.
