I have never seen plugs with burned away electrodes on any two banger I have been involved with. Could it be the plugs are fouling? If they are fouling you need a hotter plug. We used to run D16’s or the equivalent heat Autolites in the two cylinder Deeres back when we had good old leaded gas and the tractors earned their keep in the field. Today’s sooty gas requires a hotter plug like a D21, maybe D18 if the tractor is being worked hard for extended periods. Also, you need solid wire spark plug wires on a mag, not carbon core.
