Why can't you just keep what you have and run it at whatever capacity your tractor is capable of? I would think it would take less power to run the same bph through the 13" than it would running the 10" plum full?

I tried that, didn’t end well. Have to watch it like a hawk and ended up stalling the tractor out while I was at the semi putting the box up, grain started running out faster than I expected. Hydro is half the power needed to run that auger, just too easy to stall out then have to unhook and put a big tractor on and ends up being hard on things to get going again.

I’ve got my old 1060 hooked up and ready, going to time how long it takes to empty a semi load with each auger when I start wheat harvest into my biggest bin but I know then new Brandt augers will move more than the old ones, especially my one worn out one
