Southern Missouri | We have sprayers that haven’t had 24/D in them for literally years and have sprayed hundreds of fillups of cotton insecticides and cotton weed control chemicals ,roundup ,Liberty etc,and if you leave that sprayer setting for a few days with some gallons left in tank and then go get it and put it in cotton and not run the booms on the end for about 30 seconds you’ll have some fine 24/D damaged cotton for about 200 feet into the field,we’ve replaced every hose and filter on the sprayer and it still does it every now and then, lots of cotton growing neighbors have had exact same issues,I don’t know where it hides and then all of a sudden just decides to show up a little but it’ll do it,not every time but occasionally will if you forget to do the end flush for about 30 seconds,I’d be terrified of what you’re wanting to do but again just my opinion. | |
