| We are currently begged for a trend line yield of 178 compared to the 180.5 everyone thought it would be. Next week it should start dropping more below trend unless we get a drastic pattern change of below normal temperatures and above normal rainfall. We have used up the allotment of high heat days and more statistically shows will drop yield. Pollination and grain fill is the quintessential time when corn puts on yield. And heat takes it away. | |
