I put mine perpendicular to the wall, about two feet away. Works good for me. On a couple of occasions I needed to move it, and just put a big piece of steel in it and run the ram down to clamp it. Picked up on the steel with a forklift and moved it. It uses an electric pump, and I have it plugged in instead of hard wired. Along the same wall I have grinder, welders, torch, and metal rack.
Where do I put my big hydraulic press?
