Dad has an 11 F350 single wheel not dually, extended cab and shortbed. Bought it new and put it to work hauling water to our sprayer with a 1600 gallon tank on a gooseneck. It beat us to death! If I remember right it had 2 sets of overloads on it. We took one set off and it rides great now. I’m not sure why they put that heavy of springs on it. You couldn’t put a big enough load on it to get it squished down on the second overloads. I’ve never seen another one with that heavy of spring setup. Maybe it was put together at 4:30 on Friday and it ended up with F450 springs??? Who knows but maybe that will help you. Know what you’re saying about the early 2000s body style super duty’s though...they ride and drive like a dream. I’d buy a new one if they still made em.
